User Data Deletion
If you would like to request deletion of your data associated with Blind Fish:
- Email us at [email protected]
- Include the email address associated with your account.
- We will verify your identity.
- Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.
- We will send you confirmation once the deletion is complete.
There are also two things you can do yourself. Neither removes content already published, and neither deletes your Blind Fish account — use the email request above for that.
Inside Blind Fish, on the Connections page, you can disconnect an individual destination — a Facebook Page, a YouTube channel, a Snapchat profile — which deletes the credentials stored for it and stops scheduled publishing to it. You can also disconnect the account itself, which deletes the account-level authorization we hold. Disconnecting the account does not stop publishing on its own: each destination you connected keeps its own separate credentials until you remove that destination too.
At the provider, you can revoke Blind Fish’s access directly. This is the only action that invalidates every credential at once and stops all publishing to that platform:
- Google and YouTube: remove Blind Fish from the Google security settings page. This invalidates every credential we hold for your Google account, including the ones used to upload to YouTube.
- Facebook: Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
- Snapchat: remove Blind Fish from your Snapchat account’s connected apps settings.
Blind Fish holds no TikTok credentials — it imports from a public TikTok profile — so there is nothing to revoke there. Removing the source in Blind Fish stops further imports.
For more detail on what we collect per platform, see our Privacy Policy.
